The Really Magazine 2Xlation facility ( beta )

Operational note : One of the world-renowned auto-translation engines used by our alogorithm is running very slowly - you may experience time-out errors. We are currently looking for alternatives.

Instructions for 2Xlating a web-page :

Enter the www address of the page you'd like to 2Xlate, then click the button ( result may take a few moments . . . )

Known limitations :

   • Fittingly perhaps, it's a little temperamental - and has been known to fail once in a while - if so, try another site and it'll probably work.

   • Only works on English-based websites

   • Only works on html-based pages – no Flash etc etc

Tip :

   • don't use 'trailing slashes' . . . as in

     www.example.com/

Caution :

   • may cause dismay / amusement / confusion etc etc

How it works :

   • Translates the page into another language ( currently Italian ) using one auto-translator, and then back to English using another ( a.k.a. a round trip )
