There are now more than 8 billion webpages indexed by the major search engines. No matter how obscure, if you search for something and the engines find it ; it could well exist - or it might well have happened - or, at the very minimum, someone somewhere has thought of something similar and mentioned it on a website. [ example ] So nowadays, with a database that big, if your search for a bunch of common-enough words returns absolutely no results whatsoever, what can we, or indeed should we, conclude ? If the best-of-all-possible-search-engines can't find an anwser, maybe there just isn't one ?
